Stereo 41 (“we,” “us,” or “our”) operates stereo41.com. This policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to information collected through this website and through our email and text message (SMS) marketing programs.

Information We Collect

We only collect personal information that you choose to give us:

News & Offers sign-up — your name, email address, and (optionally) your phone number, along with your consent preferences.
Feedback form — any details you share about your visit, and contact information if you choose to provide it.
Automatically collected data — like most websites, we use analytics tools (Google Tag Manager / Google Analytics) that collect standard usage data such as pages visited, device and browser type, and approximate location derived from your IP address. This data is aggregated and is not used to identify you personally.

We do not collect payment information through this website. Reservations are handled by OpenTable under OpenTable’s own privacy policy.

How We Use Your Information

To send you email updates about Stereo 41 news, events, specials, and promotions.
If you have separately opted in, to send you marketing text messages (see the SMS section below).
To respond to feedback, questions, and accessibility requests.
To understand how our website is used so we can improve it.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

Text Message (SMS) Marketing

If you provide your phone number and check the SMS consent box on our sign-up form, you agree to receive recurring marketing text messages from Stereo 41 (typically up to 2 messages per week). Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of signing up for our email list or of any purchase.

Opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message. Reply HELP for help.
Message and data rates may apply, depending on your carrier plan.
Message frequency may vary.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be sold, rented, or shared with any third party. We use a messaging service provider (such as Twilio) solely to deliver our messages, and it may process your number only for that purpose.

Email Marketing

You can unsubscribe from our emails at any time using the unsubscribe link included in every message. Our email list is managed on our own systems (news.stereo41.com) and is not shared with or sold to anyone.

We share personal information only with service providers who help us operate, and only for that purpose:

Messaging and email delivery providers (e.g., Twilio) — to deliver the messages you signed up for.
Google — our feedback form is processed via Google Forms, and site analytics via Google Analytics, subject to Google’s privacy policy.
OpenTable — if you book a table, your reservation is made directly with OpenTable.

We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect the rights and safety of our guests, staff, or business.

Cookies and Do Not Track

Our analytics tools may set cookies to distinguish visits. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site will still work. Because there is no common industry standard for “Do Not Track” browser signals, this site does not currently respond to them.

Your California Privacy Rights

If you are a California resident, you may request, at any time:

To know what personal information we have collected about you.
To correct inaccurate information.
To delete your personal information from our marketing lists and records.
Not to be discriminated against for exercising any of these rights.

To make a request, email us at hello@stereo41.com with the subject line “Privacy Request.” We will verify your request using the email address or phone number on file and respond within 45 days. Because we do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, no opt-out for those practices is needed.

If you ask us to delete your information, we will remove it from our marketing lists and records. One exception: we may keep your email address or phone number on an internal suppression list, used solely to make sure we honor your opt-out and never contact you again. This information is not used for any other purpose.

Children’s Privacy

Our website and marketing programs are not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

Data Retention and Security

We keep marketing contact information for as long as you remain subscribed, and remove it when you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it (aside from the suppression list described above). We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect the information we hold.

Changes to This Policy

If we make material changes to this policy, we will post the updated version on this page with a new effective date. Continued use of the site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
